First Aid Training Courses
Jason Harding has been involved in first aid training for the last 15 years, and as a designated first aider for over 30 years, 15 years on the cross channel ferries and 14 years as a prison officer. He started teaching staff and offenders in 2006 and has tutored all aspects of first aid and manual handling in that time.
Jason Harding First Aid Training was born in 2007 when he began teaching “outside the walls” for schools, sports clubs and local business’.
Jason Harding offers friendly, relaxed courses that will suit all.

Our commitment to quality standards of competence of our first-aid trainers & courses. Jason Harding First Aid Training fully complies with the training quality standards required by the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 as amended and it’s supporting guidance
Jason Harding First Aid Training comply with the guidelines as set out by Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in its guidelines for first aid
Trainers
- All trainers have a current FAW certificate.
- All trainers & assessors have an appropriate training & assessing qualification which meets the requirements of the Health & Safety Executive (HSE)

Teaching currently accepted first-aid practice
- Jason Harding First Aid Training FAW / EFAW courses are taught in accordance with current guidelines on adult basic life support published by the Resuscitation Council (UK), and for other aspects of first aid, in accordance with current guidelines published guidelines that are supported by a responsible body of medical opinion
Training syllabus
- Jason Harding First Aid Training FAW courses includes the syllabus stated by HSE in published guidance. The courses last at least 18 hours, over 3 days as recommended by HSE.
- Jason Harding First Aid Training FAW requalification course includes the syllabus stated by HSE in published guidance. The courses last at least 12 hours, over two days.
- Jason Harding First Aid Training EFAW course includes the syllabus stated by HSE in published guidance. The courses last at least six hours.
- Jason Harding First Aid Training EFAW requalification is the same course as the EFAW above. The courses last at least six hours.
Certificates
- Jason Harding First Aid Training certificates are issued to students assessed as competent contain the name Jason Harding First Aid Training and First Aid Awards ltd (awarding body), the title of the qualification (e.g. FAW or EFAW), reference to the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, the date of issue and confirmation the certificate is valid for three years.
- Other Non-accredited training courses are certificated by Jason Harding First Aid Training on an attendance basis.
- Football Association Emergency Aid Workshops are certificated by FA Learning Ltd
